ISL final is going to starts on 7 pm 20 December 2014 in DY Patil Stadium Mumbai. Final match is between Kerala Blasters and Atlético de Kolkata. Kerala Blasters qualified for final after defeating Chennaiyin for 4-3. Atlético de Kolkata qualified for final after defeating Goa in penalty shoot-out for 4-2.
The 2014 edition was the inaugural season of the Indian Super League (ISL). The Indian Super League, Which started its first season with eight franchises.
Kerala Blasters played their first game in ISL on 13 October 2014 against NorthEast United at Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium, They lost the match for 0-1. Atlético de Kolkata played their first game in ISL on 12 October 2014 against Mumbai City at the Salt Lake Stadium, Kolkata won in their first match for 3-0.
Sachin Tendulkar is the one of the owners of Kerala Blaster and Ganguly is the owner of Atlético de Kolkata. India Football team member Baichung Bhutia predicted that Atlético de Kolkata will win the final.
