Misbah-ul-Haq announced retirement from ODI After ICC Cricket World Cup 2015


Pakistan Cricketer Misbah-ul-Haq announced retirement from One Day International Cricket after ICC Cricket World Cup 2015. Pakistan Cricketer Shahid Afridi also announced retirement from ODIs before Misbah.

Misbah told that " After ICC Cricket World Cup 2015, I want retire from ODIs and T20Is". Misbah also told that he discussed about retirement with Pakistan Cricket Board. He retires From ODIs and T20Is to Concentrate in Test Cricket.

Misbah was appointed as Pakistan Test Cricket Captain last in 2010 by Cricket Board of Pakistan, After some time he became the Captain of Pakistan Cricket team in T20Is and ODIs.

Captain Misbah-ul-Haq helped Pakistan team to win most Test matches. Misbah has scored 4669 runs from 153 ODI matches and 788 runs from 39 T20Is matches for Pakistan.

Now Misbah has 8 Test Cricket centuries. 161* (* remained not out) is the highest score of Misbah-ul-Haq in Test Cricket, He scored this run against India in Eden Gardens in 2007.

Now Misbah holds 8th position in Test Cricket and 13th position in ODI Cricket in ICC ranking. He played his first ODI against New Zealand on 27 April 2002. On 2 September 2007, Misbah played his first T20Is match against Bangladesh.

Misbah is the second Captain of Pakistan team to win Asian Cup (2012). He scored Fastest Fifty in Test Cricket against Australia from 21 balls. Misbah-ul-Haq has another record of Highest run scorer as a Captain of Pakistan.

Misbah-ul-Haq has led the Pakistan team in 76 ODIs (won 40 matches), 8 T20Is (won 6 matches) and 32 international Test Cricket (won 15 matches).
