It is the 69th Santosh Trophy Football Tournament. In 2014, Mizoram won the 68th Santosh Trophy Football Tournament against Railways.
Santosh Trophy tournament was started on 1941. It is the one of the most popular Football tournaments in India. The average participating team of Santosh Trophy is 31. West Bengal is the most successful team in Santosh Trophy and the they were the first winners. DD Sports is the Television broadcasters of Santosh Trophy.
Services was the winner of 2013 Santosh Trophy Football tournament, They won the match against Kerala for 4-3 score in Penalty shootout. Services also won 2012 Santosh Trophy against Tamil Nadu for 3-2.
