ICC announced the name of Indian batting legend Sachin Tendulkar as 2015 World cup Cricket's ambassador. ICC chief executive David Richard announced Sachin as World Cup ambassador. Now Sachin became World Cup Ambassador two times.
Sachin was the ambassador of the World Cup 2011. On 14 February 2015, Cricket World Cup starts in Australia and New Zealand. Indian Cricketer Virat Kohli was also selected as 2015 World Cup Cricket Ambassador.
Sachin could bring Cricket World Cup in 3rd position of the World. Sachin Tendulkar played in 6 World Cup for India, So ICC announced that Sachin Tendulkar as 2015 World Cup Cricket ambassador.
Sachin is the best run taker in the World Cup in the history of Cricket. Sachin told that he is very happy as ambassador of Cricket World Cup. Sachin also told that this World Cup will be different for him. Sachin participated in 1987 World Cup as ball boy.
Sachin told that all World Cups are different experience. There are lots of fans for Cricket in Australia and New Zealand. Sachin told that to rise the World Cup is the dream of all Cricketers around the World.
Sachin told that, he could rise the World Cup after 22 years. Sachin will participate in all programs conducted by ICC to rise the importance Cricket World Cup.
Sachin Tendulkar retired from all format international Cricket last year. Sachin holds the record of most run taker in the World Cup. Sachin Tendulkar Scored 2278 runs from 45 matches with 56.95 average.
11th World Cup starts on 14 February 2015 and ends on 29 March 2015. The first match of the World Cup is between Australia and New Zealand.
