Sachin Tendulkar was born on April 24, 1973 in Mumbai. His high school was in Sharadashram Vidyamandir in Mumbai.  He is always called  the Master blaster or Little Master. He started his Cricket career under Mr.Ramakant  Achrekar. When he was at school, his amazing batting skills noticed by the sports circuit. Soon Sachin  became one of the greats in cricket.

After sometime he stepped into international cricket in 1989, plying  his first Test against Pakistan and was bowled by Waqar Younis on 15. When Sachin entered the international cricket, the experts had a big complaint according to Sachin's height. His amazing talent has become tallest player in the world of cricket. With each passing year in his career, he became a good consistent batsman in the Indian team.

In 1995, Sachin married Anjali, daughter of Anand Mehta. They have two children, Sara and Arjun. Arjun also a cricket player. Sachin have played in five world cups and finally he could lift World cup in his sixth World cup in 2011.

Sachin Tendulkar has performed well all format of cricket. He has been honoured with many Awards including Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan, Padma shri, Arjuna Award and the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award.Sachin is the only batsman who won 10000 Runs in Test cricket and One Day. Sunil Gavaskar is the first cricket player who won 10000 Runs in Test cricket.
